1. Salutations to the God of the Ocean, salutations to Thee, Lord of the Waters! To Thee, the Lord of Rivers, salutations, again and again!
2. Verily, by the mere sight of whom, sinful thoughts are destroyed, who increases the accumulation of merit, to the fulfiller of desires, salutations, again and again!
3. Grant me the pacification of great sins by touching Thee on sacred days. Salutations to Thee, who art the cause of the pacification of minor sins!
4. Salutations to Thee, who holdest the force of the river currents. Salutations to the eternally peaceful God, the pacifier!
5. For knowledge, for the appeasement of great diseases and skin diseases, the giver of auspicious abode, the destroyer of sins, to Thee, salutations, again and again!
6. Salutations to Thee, the abode of saline waters, who art also in the form of the Ocean of Milk, the bed of the Great Vishnu, the father-in-law, salutations!
7. In the Tretā Yuga, for the cause of the construction of Rāma's bridge, the support of Maināka and other lineages, to Thee, salutations!
8. The sacred city of Dvārakā is well-situated in whose womb, to the beloved of Śrī Kṛṣṇa, the Lord of the Seas, salutations!
9. Salutations to Thee, whose womb is filled with jewels, conches, and precious gems. Salutations to Thee, who nourishes with salt, the establisher of cooking!
10. During the bathing time in the ocean, a person who recites this hymn, increasing the accumulation of merit, undoubtedly becomes purified in soul.
Telugu Translation — తెలుగు అనువాదం
1. నమో సముద్రదేవాయ జలధీశాయ తే నమః। నదీనాం పతయే తుభ్యం నిత్యమేవ నమోనమః।।
ఓ సముద్ర దేవా, నీకు నమస్కారము. జలములకు అధిపతివైన నీకు నమస్కారము. నదులకు ప్రభువైన నీకు ఎల్లప్పుడూ నమస్కారములు.
2. నూనం దర్శనమాత్రేణ పాపబుద్ధ వినాశినే। పుణ్యరాశిం వర్ధయతే కామదాయ నమో నమః।।
నిజంగా, దర్శన మాత్రమున పాపపు ఆలోచనలను నశింపజేయువాడవు, పుణ్యరాశిని వృద్ధి చేయువాడవు, కోరికలను తీర్చువాడవు అయిన నీకు మరల మరల నమస్కారములు.
3. మహా పాతక శాంతిం మే పర్వణి స్పృశతః కురు। ఉపపాతక శాంతిం చ కుర్వాణాయ నమో నమః।।

5. వయునాయ మహారోగ చర్మరోగోపశాంతయే। స్యోనస్థాన ప్రదాయాస్తు పాపఘ్నే తే నమోనమః।।
జ్ఞానము కొరకు, గొప్ప రోగములు మరియు చర్మ రోగముల ఉపశమనము కొరకు, శుభకరమైన స్థానమును ప్రసాదించువాడవు, పాపములను నశింపజేయువాడవు అయిన నీకు మరల మరల నమస్కారములు.
6. క్షారాంబునిధయే తుభ్యం క్షీరసాగర రూపిణే। శయనాయ మహావిష్ణోః శ్వశురాయ నమో నమః।।
ఉప్పు నీటి సముద్రుడవైన నీకు, క్షీరసాగర రూపమున ఉన్న నీకు, మహావిష్ణువుకు శయనమైన నీకు, మామగారికి నమస్కారములు.
7. త్రేతాయుగే చ శ్రీరామ సేతు నిర్మాణ హేతవే। మైనాకాది గోత్రజాత సమాధారాయ తే నమః।।
త్రేతాయుగములో శ్రీరాముని వారధి నిర్మాణమునకు కారణమైనవాడవు, మైనాకుడు మొదలైన వంశముల వారికి ఆధారమైన నీకు నమస్కారము.
8. పురీ ద్వారవతీ పుణ్యా యస్య గర్భే సమాస్థితా। శ్రీకృష్ణ ప్రేమపాత్రాయ సింధూనాం పతయే నమః।।
పుణ్యమైన ద్వారకా నగరము నీ గర్భమునందు చక్కగా నెలకొని ఉన్నది. శ్రీకృష్ణుని ప్రేమకు పాత్రుడవైన సింధువులకు అధిపతివైన నీకు నమస్కారము.
9. మణి శంఖ మహానర్ఘ రత్న గర్భాయ తే నమః। లవణేభ్యః పోషయిత్రే పాకస్థామ్నే నమోనమః।।
మణులు, శంఖువులు, విలువైన రత్నములు గల గర్భము కల నీకు నమస్కారము. ఉప్పు ద్వారా పోషించువాడవు, వంటకు స్థానమైన నీకు మరల మరల నమస్కారములు.
10. సముద్రస్య స్నానకాలే స్తోత్రమేతత్ పఠన్ నరః। పుణ్యసంచయముద్వర్ధ్య పూతాత్మా భవతి ధ్రువమ్।।
సముద్ర స్నానము చేయునప్పుడు ఈ స్తోత్రమును పఠించిన మానవుడు పుణ్యమును వృద్ధి చేసుకొని పవిత్రుడగును, నిశ్చయముగా.
